  • What is Dragonfly CMS?
    Dragonfly CMS is a powerful, feature-rich, Open Source content management system which was based on PHP-Nuke 6.5 in the "CPG-Nuke CMS" days. We have spent over a year developing Dragonfly CMS, paying close attention to security and reliability. The release of Dragonfly marks yet another exciting milestone in our history.

  • What programming language does Dragonfly use?
    Our software is written in PHP—the fastest programming language spreading the net today, combined with your choice of either MySQL or PostgreSQL (experimental).

  • What does my server require?
    The prefered setup is to have:
    - PHP 4.3 or higher.
    - MySQL 4.0.x
    MySQL 5.x is not supported in versions up to 9.0.6.1
    (MySQL 4.1 and PostgreSQL 7.6 or higher are supported in CVS)
    - Apache 1.3 or higher (other httpd clients are also supported like IIS5/6, Raiden, etc.)
    - GD 2, ImageMagick, netPBM or any other image manipulation software

Dragonfly CMS is awesome!

I have been using content managements systems for what seems like ages. I have tried several and always seem to stick with Dragonfly. The reason? Ease of use and security.

From the first time I used it to now, it has always been easy to use. This is definitely one of the best!

For support, the community is ok. The community is a little elitist and not flexible in any way when you post for support. I suggest doing a thorough search of the forums before even posting.

I also suggest using cmsall.com, the people there are FAR more polite and helpful, having gotten tired of the crap over at cpgnuke.

Please do not let that deter you from using this awesome CMS!! It is so worth the hassles of making sure you preempt the jerks that run cpgnuke with a "proper" support request.

I love this CMS and will always use it!!
