Problem in script

Altough the script is nicely written, but there is a little problem with it. When a file is downloaded, counter is incremented 2 times for first file, 3 times for second file and 5 times for 3rd file. There is no difference in call code then why it is incremented differently? Plaease describe as I am studient of PHP. Thanks.
